Walk of the week

Finally we have some “nice” weather here, so I got to enjoy the simple neighborhood walk. Funnily enough, right after this nice weather, we had the blizzard hitting 7-8 inches of snow. Fun living in MN!

What kind of people do you want to hang out with?

I was at kids Takewondo class the other day. I met one of my friends (a mom of my kid’s friend). We were just casually talking about how we are doing. She mentioned about the girls’ night that she had recently. I said “Man, it would be nice to have some guys’ night”. She said why not go out and hang out. I kind of confessed that “I don’t really have guy friends”. She simply asked “What are you into? I never know what you are into.”

That hit me hard. I couldn’t think of anything that I profoundly excited about. I simply go to work, pick up kids, feed, put them to bed. Do the housework after that, then it is bed time. It repeats again. I have never thought of any other luxious time to think about hobbies or interest for awhile. I just need some outlet to go out and find some right minded people.
